THE FESTIVALS of YAHWEH and their SERVICES
Notes
(1) that, though we should respect both the Jewish and
(some) Christian observances of these Festivals, we should not make it
our aim to imitate either Jewish nor Gentile observance traditions;
instead we should make every attempt to keep the Scriptural Festivals
insofar as we have learned them from the Source and from the primary
sources of Nazorean history: this we do to the best of our abilities;
and
(2) that when we intend to keep any of Yahweh's
set-apart times, we should never substitute the names and titles of
pagan deities
for those rightfully belonging
to the Sovereign, conceding that the majority of 'Bibles' employed by
Jews and Christians are filled cover to cover with such pagan names and
titles. Rather, we are neither afraid nor ashamed to worship Yahweh
Elohim by his True Name and Titles, nor revere Yahshua the Anointed One
by his - and so we do.

Yahweh's Calendar in the Scriptures: Imagine yourself as a
shepherd boy out in the fields, tending your flocks. Night by night
you observed the moon waning until it no longer emitted light. Then
on an evening when the moon started to emit light again, it was a
"new moon."

When the Talmud (Tractate Shabbos 21b) relates the essence of Chanuka, it skips the entire story

which contained one day's oil but burned for eight, until new oil
could be produced.

I rebuild, restore &
repair brass and silver musical instruments. The proceeds of sales
go for our occupational rehabilitation ministry. Pictured are 1910
White and 1920 York silver cornets, which came to me each in very
poor condition. Each horn was chemically cleaned,
de-tarnished, de-dented, re-soldered, padded and corked, with valves
lapped and lubricated. They are ready as vintage instruments to go
back into service, along with many more beauties. Do you have
instruments you no longer use - any make, model, condition or type?
We can put them to use in ministry. Perhaps you are a player
or need a used instrument. Maybe I can help. Call (801) 850
